FEDS & COPS PARSE NAMES FOR IMMIGRANTS

DISCLOSURE VIDEO BLOG:

Los Angeles, CA— Starting on Saturday, April 23, 2005 the Disclosure Video Blog will feature United States Attorney Debra Yang describing what the meaning of the word “status” is, as it relates to illegal immigrants who were working airport security at Los Angeles International Airport. Also featured on the ten-minute video blog are three Los Angeles Police Commission Presidents; Edith Perez, Rick Caruso and David S. Cunningham, Police Chief Bernard Parks and INS District Director Richard Rogers who attempt to explain the difference between criminals, aliens, immigrants and persons “out of status”.

The Disclosure Video Blog is moderated by Leslie Dutton and demonstrates with video clips the dilemma faced by Federal and local law enforcement officials when implementing the “don’t-ask, don’t-tell” LAPD policy known as Special Order 40. Spokespersons from the L. A. Superior Court and L. A. County District Attorney also offer their positions via telephone voice mail messages that are featured on blog.

The Disclosure Video Blog is streamed 24/7 from the website at www.fulldisclosure.net to publicize “the news behind the news” impacting current public policies and features exclusive clips from Full Disclosure television interviews and footage, never before seen on broadcast television. Visitors to the website are encouraged to add their comments with additional information to the Disclosure Video Blog in order to encourage and heighten public awareness on hot topics.
